About the project

Eparket.com showroom

When your business partner that you buy your supplies from asks you to design a new space for his showroom it’s a great honour and a huge responsibility. This space definitely had potential but needed a lot of work.

We got rid of the terrible suspended ceiling, painted the walls into a neutral grey color that would not interfere with the color perception of the product and opened the space to exterior through the new huge windows.

The whole concept grew out of gorgeous Christian Lacroix wallpaper (a showroom promoting state of the art product has to fashionable!).

The sales desks are located in small alcoves in between the columns leaving most of the space open for floor samples. We also put bigger samples on all the walls for the clients to be able to appreciate the color and texture. These framed samples can be changed depending on what brad the store wants to promote this season. A smaller paint and wallpaper zone has several big tables where clients can browse through wallpaper catalogues and do color boards of their space using paint samples. Light is essential for a fit-out store.

We used neutral white lights to show the samples' actual colors. Huge windows also help)
