My client wanted her new apartment to be light and fresh as an ocean breeze. I created a space that would make her want to come home after a long eventful day and relax. This apartment should become her personal mini-vacation from our hectic city.
When designing the color scheme for the entire project I thought of a sunset on the beach: tender peach tones are sided with fresh light blue ones, warm beige and seashell white.
I used botanical ornaments for the entire apartment to accentuate the softness of the color selection. Flowers are literally everywhere: growing on the living room and bedroom walls, hanging down from the ceiling and blooming under your feet on the carpets in the living room and even in the bathroom. I used large stone tiles for the bathroom with a light shimmer to make the space a little bit magical.
I wanted every corner of the space to be filled with bliss and relaxation, every new morning to be peaceful and bright and every evening spent here — to allow my client to recharge her batteries after a business day in a big city.
