Serdce Stolicy Apartments
My new clients, a young couple, wanted to create a stylish vibrant city apartment for two. I chose to keep the concrete on the walls softening it by using more wood.
Wooden frame divides the kitchen area from the living area and creates a cozy dining space. I opted for a kitchen bench that offers additional storage space over a conventional table. Different lighting scenarios also help to zone the space and create cozy atmosphere. The two giant cactuses that our couple brought from their former apartment found their new home and add liveliness to the living room.
Despite the small size, the bedroom is very functional: I managed to fit in a wardrobe, a queen size bed and a wall hung cabinet. Using the wood finish as a headboard proved to be a very space effective solution. Same wood color is used for the wall hung cabinet which serves as a stand to a painting instead of a conventional TV.
Despite the dominance of grey, the apartment turned out to be cozy and warm.
